Can anyone comment on these products? I am looking at this one:

Haven't used his products, but Greg, aka smithabusa on this board is a standup guy.
I know a few have used his products and have never heard of a complaint.

I just like the idea better than the TRE... makes more sense to only modify how the ECU sees 6th gear instead of all gears

Great guy to deal with..talk to him to make sure you are getting what you want. His indicator disables the GPS. Works like a tre and the ECU sees 5th in all gears.

He can modify it so the ECU sees 1,2,3,4,5,5  to get rid of the limiter.  IMO the best way to do it!

I can live without the indicator... my concern is not telling the ecu that the bike is in 5th all the time, only when in 6th.. I think the factory would not have gone to all the trouble for nothing..

Yep,

When I was looking for my programming instructions and asked him to send them there was an inexcusable delay in sending me another copy.  It took about 30 hours for him to get it to me.  

 

He was working in Germany at the time with his "real"￾ job but took the time to send it to me.  

 

Nope, never heard anything bad about him.

Thanks for all of the kind words. I do 2 type of GPS mods, 1 which i use to run ger indicator, boost controllers, gear based things, this mod i Have to wire the gps like a TRE (5th gear all the time).

I also do the 123455 mod, I just did a 123455 mod on an 08 busa gps sensor this morning.

I thought I read that the 08 was also restricted in 5th.. possible bad info. Has it been tested yet.

Ivve had the sensor for a couple of weeks and was holding off due to that, but yesterday someone verified on a dyno 4th and 5th gear both bull to 11K actual 12K indicated.

It sounds like there is not an improvement in the accuracy of the tach as well.
