hey all.first post here but have been trolling here for about 2 months.anyways i bought a red & black 05 model and am very happy.don't have any pics or know how to post them if i did.this bike is alot easier to ride than i thought it would be.now i am thinking of mods allready.first mod will be getting rid of that god-awfully fugly mud flap.then maybe the hmf hi-mount kit with tre,air box mod and pc3.looking forward to talking to other busa owners !

Welcome, good to see you got the fastest color as well

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the board! I can agree with everything except the TRE, but you'll get lots of opinions from the board on that.

Oh, posting pics is a must so take them and then we'll help you figure out how to post 'em!

Welcome to the board! Since this is your first bike, good thing you bought the slower red/black Busa. Makes it easier to ride while you are learning.

Congrats wuss.
Now I have a question (sorry for hijacking your thread).
Why no TRE?
HMF, Box mod, PC3, but limited to 186? I don't understand ...

PS
NJ, How can you tell him to ditch the idea when you don't even know what a TRE is

. Caught ya slippin' playa.

thanks for the 411 on the tre,it's been marked off the list.
If you really are "1scaredwuss", then it's a good idea to ditch the TRE. BUT, if you've got balls of steel and wanna find out why the busa has the reputation it does, then get it! I'll tell you, there's nothing like going past 186mph (GPS) on a busa! The experience is out of this world!!!
Damn I love my bike

Congrats, nice bike and the fastest color as well. Yeah, I would lose the tre as well.

The Hayabusa was my first as well. I only just learned to ride this spring at a MSF course. I already pegged her. Is there a way way to derestric besides the TRE or resistor mods.
