Bought The BUSA!

I broke down today and put the down payment on a 2007 Hayabusa. Im going to pick it up on Saturday! Ill be sure to get some pics for you guys. I have a good 200 mile ride home from the dealership so I will get some time on it. Any suggestions for the ride home?? I cant wait!!!!!!!!!

Im not real concerned with the 2008. From the pic it doesnt look any cooler than the 07 and It isnt too much more power. I know the 07 will be enough bike for me. I paid 10200 OTD so I may have paid a bit too much but I am comfortable with it.

I saw those pics of the 08 and Im not sure If I like it. The 07 style is cooler if you ask me. I have never had a bike with the power of the 'busa so the extra 10-20 hp in the 08 will be wasted on me! T minus 1 day. I cant wait! Ill have pics of the Blue beauty up soon.

I think you only paid "a tad" too much... but nothing to be concerned about. You bought a great bike! The 06/07 models are at their peak as far as the "busa technology" is concerned regarding the "old" versions! YOu got a good deal and you now own the last model year of the original "hayabusa"!!!

You bike looks great.... so keep it looking that way!!! She wants to be ridden...so ride her hard, fast, furious, and stroke that tank, tail, bars, grips, frame (the best part), the entire body........ you need to please her!!!!!!!!!

To please her.... do one thing....

145mph at least!!!!!!!

..... at least!!!!

Hit that mark and you can at least say you really "rode the beast"........ but you really need to do OVER 150!!!

.... but that speed might come later in time....

Enjoy your new bike, don't worry about the 2008, I think it may take a while to catch on, it certainly doesn't seem to be anything radical and not such a leap forward over the current bikes. Is it me or are the 2008 colour schemes a bit bland?
