brake fluid probs

When I changed the clutch fluid I noticed a black substance in the bottom of the fluid resivor. I cleaned that out and the fluid has remained clear for the last 3 months.

alot of probs seem to have been posted on onelist recently about brake fluid turning black. i have replaced mine due to this problem but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem or maybe come up with a solution.

actually the above post was in reference to clutch fluid....not brake fluid...my bad..

Yes this has happend to alot of use, although I have replaced mine ( warrenty repair ) I'm finding mine is turning now ??? It's been about 4000 miles...

i switched 2 synthetic and it cured that problem
