Brake Pads

Jimjib why don't you take this opportunity to upgrade your pads all around?

Did you get oil on them or just use them up? I wouldn't use a set of rears in 100K miles.

Just curious.

Before I read the posts about some of you guys only using the front brakes I used the hell out of my rears. When I put my second new tire on I checked the rears and they were pretty worn. It took Wilwerts of Dubuque,Iowa 3 days to get them. 800 359 1980. I rarely use my back brake now and when I do I wonder why. Old memories.

I was amazed also that I could go through the rear pads in just 7000 miles, I have never heard of that before. I only became aware of the problem when I heard metal to metal contact as I rolled out of the driveway with the engine off. Luckily I caught it in time and won't have to replace the disk, but its pretty strange. I wonder if the pads just disintegrated or something, I won't have the time to look at it good until next weekend. Anyway, what pads do you recommend?

Oops and then I had to use my back brake in the rain and dirt like today for 200 miles.

Filth. Mud on your visor. Crap in the seams of your snowmobile suit. Dirt packed in your radiators and all around your chain guard.

Then a hot tub.

Then a blow job just for making it back.

Sunbelt boys, eat tacos.
