Brake Pads

Well let's see if I can remember correctly....... it was me talking about these new brake pads "Performance Friction", great things, had to have, the new stuff.

Well I called and ordered some titanium bolts and these new pads for my PFM cailpers, bolts were areound $90 USD, just how much could the pads be ($30-50 USD right), wrong $55 USD each, yes friends I have been fucked to the tune of $110 USD for a set of brake pads for my front calipers. Yes I made the mistake of not asking "how much". For our race bike they were like $40 total......

I can only say that these should go on display at the "Race Rock" in Orlando, FL.

On a side note, my $140 USD Alpinstars SP-1 gloves (new this season, no crashes) are falling apart. my 2nd finger stiching is gone (finger shows). This is great, two "shafts" in the same night.

Ok, I guess I have jumped the gun here a bit. I just installed the new pads and went for a ride. I can say one word: "Oh My *GOD*". These pads make the Ferodo pads seem like nothing. They do stop, I mean really stop my Hayabusa.

Guess I'll be paying $110 per set of pads from now on.

If you get set of PFM brakes, trash the Ferodo pads and go with Performance Friction (carbon/metallic) pads. # 7570.95.09.2

Hey Jeff do those pads work with the stock caliper/rotors?

Yes you can get Performance Friction pads for the Busa (same as the GSXR750). Be about $40 USD per side.

1) Yoyodyne TI
2) Street-n-comp
3) 2-Brothers

Are places you will find them

The TI bolts come from Yoyodyne Titanium. They have more than just rotor bolts, most anything you want as long as you have $$ to spend.

Might be easier for me to loose 20 lb on a diet than with ti parts :)

Put a set of Performance Friction on my Stock caliper rotor set up.Made sure I changed the fluid and sanded the rotors.Great brake pads! A little better lever feel and more power for sure. They seem to have a little less bite at first but them come on strong.Worth the cash for sure :).

ok i won't tell you what you already know!
Have you seen there pfm break kit? take a look at the price. my members price is $1350
