Brake rotors

What are we doing for the gen 1 these days? Looking at $250 or less for the front set, what’s recommended? Mine are just slightly warped, I feel the pulsation. I do have another oem set but I wouldn’t mind some cool looking ones since I gotta take the wheel off to swap em anyway.

Arashi, Yama Shiki, galfer, ebc, braking, are there viable options in that price range? I have a rear galfer already, so I just need the front. I don’t care if they match.

Let me know!

I have Arashi rotors front and rear. They work just fine. Forget what they cost but it wasn’t too high. Changed them around 65,000 miles when I needed fork seals. See?

Les holes is MORE contact , 100% covering rotor with real pads ,YOU NEED BITE
Big plus is fit Brembo CorsaCorta RCS19 , even on a tokico 6pots ,you do no more use 2 finger BUT 1 finger stoppy !!!

True to an extent, but you still need some holes in them(why they all have holes now days) to let the gas escape that is generated from the heat from the pads, so the gas doesn't form a barrier between the pad and rotor, which diminishes stopping power.
But yes, some of the aftermarket rotors go to extremes with crazy designs, with alot less material...and alot less stopping power.

As working at Brembo Dealer workshop , we fit this type every week , swap them from Sunstar OEM

And those oem Sunstars cost almost if not as much as the Brembos do!
I put 3 new Brembos on my Gsxr1k, as I got great half price deal on the front pair from a member here(new in the box), 2 for actaully less than the price of one, then I bought a new rear one...I still wouldn't call them budget friendly...but those shiny parts are hard to resist...lol
