brakes/rotors

Hello guys,I was wondering if my galfer wave rotors on my 06 model will fit on the new 08

?? finally does anyone know if there is a brembo package available (calipers/levers/resevoir) for the 08,and who is the supplier.I thank you in advance for any info.

I was under the impression that the brakes on the Gen 2 were a lot better...

Brakes do not transfer over. Rotor is different size and not sure about bolt pattern. Brembo package, levers, res' and calipers should be available. I know I am already carrying Carrozzeria Works wave rotors and HH Pads, as well as Galfer's. CZ are a bit less $, design is nearly the same, but CZ's weigh a hair less.

For the calipers, would you be looking for cast or billet? Big price difference in the two, but performance on a non-GP bike I'm thinking wouldn't be noticeable, unless your the perfectionist, then it would be billet of course.

In my experience, the stock brakes on the K8 suck moist ass compared to brake systems on other big, fast hyperbikes. If they truly are "better" than the stock Gen I brakes, that's really unfortunate.

I am setting up a rather massive Group Buy on brake systems for this bike and one other, but it won't be ready to go until late January/early February. I need to chat with ks_waterbug about it first anyway... but if you can't wait and gotta have stuff before then, have fun shopping.

i dont see why such hate for the brakes so much. they are 10x better the my 03 busa even with hh pads. i will put hh pads on my 08 soon and maybe steel lines and wave rotors

08 brakes are just fine. I would spend my money somewhere else.

How's the masters on the 08' compared to the 1Gen? Are they using a carryover design, or is it at least revalved?
