Brand loyalty or favoritism?

Just curious on where you guys stand on this. I see all sorts of things from various people on various forums. 'Cowuhsucky' 'HonDUH' 'Yamahahahahahaha!' and 'Susucki' or some such. Some people even go as far as to say things like "Big loss if someone ran you over. You drive a -brand they hate here-"

So...it's not bad enough we have thousands of Harley people that hate those 'traitors' that drive Japanese bikes (but their beater is a Toyota Tacoma' but now we have faction groups? Perhaps we can have faction groups inside the faction groups? "I only drive Suzuki V-twins! Everything else is  

"  

So...where do you fit in, and why?

Everytime I see a different bike I WANT IT, Gixxer 1K, R-1, ZX 10-14, CBR 1K RR, MV Agusta, Ducatti, and even alot of choppers !!

do mopeds count? just kidding! i would say im a suzuki fan, i bought my busa because of the way it looks and for the power. when i bought my honda i got a better deal on it compared to what i could get the gsxr for. but i dont see very many bikes that are just totally ugly in every way to me. i can usually find somthing that i like about any brand or style of bike.

I am definitly a Suzuki guy, but I would buy/ride a lot of other bikes as well. Just lean to the Zuk's.

I've had Honda,Yammy and the busa.Never owned a Kawi.But the Concours 14 is in the future.And nothing yet has beat the Honda in reliability.

I've owned just about every brand known to mankind; I'll probably always own at least one 'Busa but other bikes interest me too...

I thnk of those folks as "owners" not riders. What ever bike I own at the time is just a means to do what I love doing. Riding.

I am a perfectionist (wish I wasn't, I'd live longer) and very anal about what I ride! I've been around longer than 99 percent of you kids and for me, proof's in the puddin'! I have purchased NEW starting back in 1978 and have yet, during 30 years of ownership, had so much as an oil leak, let alone an operational issue. All of the below listed beloved Suzukis have given me thousands upon thousands of trouble free riding enjoyment............so why change now!!??

I too have owned almost every marque there is, norton, benelli, yami, honda, harley, rupp, kawi, even a husq back in the day, just to name a few. But i prefer my suzuki's over the others.That is all i own right now, 4 GSXR's and my Busa.
