Brock Top Clamp & Soupy Block = Great!

Previous thread I had issue with just the brock clamp, brake lever hitting the fairing in full lock while trying to maneuver the bike.
This would cost sudden stop that I almost dropped the bike.:poke:
Tried to adjust the brake lever to clear the fairing but no luck.

So... I purchase the Soupy Block 1"
My priority was to make the brake lever clear the fairing full lock, and also raise back the handle bars for better posture.

Thanks Soupy! great product!:cheerleader:

You should have sold the Brock's clamp and just used the 1" spacer block with your OEM-TT to lower it... ;)

i just installed the soupy lowering block as well, and lowered in an inch and my pazzo levers dont hit either!!!:beerchug: like you said great product!!!

I would say "you could just use the block" the bling of the top clamp might be too much for some to withstand...

Are you hitting the inner fairing panel?

I would say just touching the very end of the throttle grip, only when I actually push the handle bar into the fairing. But i think i can still adjust it to be totally free.
I will take that instead of the brake lever accidentally applying :banghead:

I could have, but it was already there when I bought it and did not want to lose anymore riding time yesterday

I have the same issue, but the dealership JBwelded some spacers to the frame to keep it from turning the full radius. So if I remove the spacers and install this block, I should get my locking ability back and no clearance issues?

I just want to be sure that this is the solution for me since I'm going to demand that my dealer do this since they were the ones that installed the aftermarket triple-tree in the first place. (it was a dealer add-on)

what kind of spacer did they install? take a picture!
I have no problem locking it now :cheerleader:

FYI Brock Clamp is fairly taller than the stock clamp so it should clear even better.

Good luck!

I'll snap a picture today and post it up! Thanks

Ok, here's my setup. I talked to the dealer this morning and they are standing by the "fact" that a a custom lowered triple tree "always does this." But I know for a fact that there is a triple tree available that does not have clearance issues, only it's black, not chrome. But this block, if it works, would solve everything.

FYI, that's condensation on the chrome, not dust/dirt. I had my wife snap these from home and I was horrified until I realized that I didn't cover it last night and the fog was super thick.
