Brocks Alienhead

I currently have an '08 with Voodoo shorties. I may be me but it seems like I have lost some power. I am thinking about changing to a Brock's Alienhead full system. I know it will give me more hp but my question is, will it give me more power at all ranges. I am particularly interested in low and mid range.

Yes the Alienhead pipe will - with the proper map. The Voodoos sound great, but are one of the worst setups out there for power. Go for it!

The open AH is for WOT. They sell a plug for it that may help more for low range.

Brocks makes a dayum good pipe, healthy, very healthy all the way through. ECU editing with a good tuner is mandatory for someone that's looking for everything they can get out of the bike.

don't think u can go wrong with any brocks pipe, they all perform and sound great. Went with the streetmeg on mine bc i thought the ah might be a touch loud for my taste, the streetmeg is still quite loud. My favorite brocks setup is still the dual ct system, wish i would have held out and got it, dang it's expensive!!

seems like the streetmeg, shortmeg, alienhead, and dual ct are the most popular brocks systems i've seen from searchin on the board. All sound and perform great, can't go wrong!! I would keep an eye out for a used ah in the classifieds if u want to find one a bit cheaper, have seen a few on there from time to time

I thought the Shortmeg was louder, that is why I was looking at the alienhead. I may have to go with the Shortmeg. I have the Voodoo shorties right now. I had them without the baffles and had to ride with ear plugs. Now I ride with the baffles.

The shortmeg and the ah are essentially the same pipe. The only difference is the shape of the muffler. W/ the shortmeg you are able to take the baffle out if you wanted too. It does make it quite a bit louder if you do that.

Brocks really makes great stuff. I love my CT duals.

If I had to do it again, I think I want to try the full AH setup. It must be louder. I want louder!
