if you know how to change crank out yourself, I would get an 08 crank. I'm not sure if you would need a thicker gasket though. I dont think so

can you put a little money with the 1k? I would get some headwork done. I think you can get some headwork done for 500. plus labor

in this area of the forum I found you get more quality answers but less of them. throw this topic over in general bike section and youll get more ideas but you may have to throw some of them to the curb

Why not check out some of the site's sponsors who have performance centers? GPW ("Greg") of Hyperbike Performance Centers in MD comes to mind.

Bet you'd get some great advice and even better prices

PS If you click on the "Sponsors" tab at the top of the page, you'll be overwhelmed by all the performance shops and parts suppliers who sponsor the site.

Looks like your bike is so fast now;

I think a better idea, is to give me that 1K for my 1397 kit.....

From looking at your mod list I'm sure you already know that $1K is a pretty small budget for performance work.

I'd put some money in the suspension to better hadle the extra power you already have, but seeing that you are in FL, you probably don't need any suspension work with all of them straight roads there
