I just finished doing the footpeg mod and I must say OMG!!! I really didn't think it would make a whole lot of difference but i was wrong. I just thought the busa had leg room before. To top it off they look really good. Here is a pic or two.
I did it for long trips because there are not a lot of twisties around here to worry about dragging pegs on. I actually used some brass fitting i had laying around to shim the hole. I drilled them out and cut them down to fit. They seem like they are going to work great. Some of the other guys around here use TL 1000 peg bushings. I had to adjust my shifter with consisted of moving the clamp on the shifter rod clockwise one tooth, which was perfect. I also had to adjust my brake up all the way. I think I will shorten the rod on the brake to get a little more out of it. Total cost was $31.65.
