To whomever ebay member superchargedbigblockchevy (Joe) is...(I'm pretty sure he's a member here as he points to this site in his auction).. I (bevsway1) just got a set delivered for my busa, and installed them.. first of all, your directions were spot on, brother.. and the product is just the cats ass!!!! I can't thank you enough for such a fantastic product.. in my opinion, it's got to be the best mod a tall fat guy can do

It took all of 20 minutes to install them, and adjust the light switch and pedals.. was a perfect fit and finish, and just looks kickazz!!!

Went riding tonight, and it's just unimaginable the difference from these pegs and stock... what a huge difference, and made it so much more comfortable.

Thanks again to whomever you are.. and as far as I'm concerned.. whoever came up with this.. should get the Nobel Prize!!!!!

just makes it easier to get your feet on the pegs. For ME.. more cramped riding position hurts the knee and lower back... these pegs helps reduce the cramped riding position.

Listen guys.. the statement "tall and fat" was intended for myself only.. I don't know about anyone else. Sorry for the confusion if any. I only posted this to say thanks to the guy I got them from..although it was probably a little dramatic... not trying to imply anything negative against anyone tall and/or heavy.

WOW... I should've done more research, then... cost me about 3 times that amount!! I'm not disappointed, just surprised at how little the pegs actually cost before modification.

I would do mine right now, but I am worried about dragging a foot... Size 13's here...
When I was first learning to ride, I dragged a boot and was all impressed with myself that I was getting my lean on. Then a riding buddy advised me to put the balls of my feet on the pegs when cornering.

Size 9 here.

I have the Buell Firebolt pegs, MUCH better looking than the clunky boat anchors these come with, but don't have as much drop as the XB-12 pegs used in the usual mod mentioned here. About $35 from the dealer, then you have to clearance them to fit with a grinder or sander- no big deal.

The finished product sold on eBay is not a bad deal if you don't have the tools or the time to do it yourself. From what I've seen posted he goes above and beyond on fit and finish to have a no-hassle, quality finished product. That takes a lot of time and several tools most people don't own-I know, I have a workshop.

Hurc,....thank you so much for taking time for this post. And thanks to the other members who gave positive comments as well. One member mentioned a guy that was selling the pegs for around $90 to $100,.......that guy is me. I HAD just started selling the peg sets,..........and basically trying to "feel the waters" and overcome initial cost on several sets of pegs,....supplies for polishing and grinding,......and taking the time to "stress test" this product on a hydralic press. (See the press results under "Buell peg stress test" in the Modifications" area as well.) NOW,...that I've gotten this Mod down to a "science",......I have dropped the price to something I feel is totally fair. As a couple members had mentioned,.......I sell them on Ebay. If anyone has a question,........please PM me. Thanks again!!!!

Joe

I went from total comfort (low Buells) to total performance(Sato rearsets)....you want long distance pain.....put these on! Why would a 60 year old do this to himself? Ego satisfaction at the coffee shop, I guess. Raydog

During full knee drag, do the buell pegs clear the ground?
With the feeler removed from the Buell peg................it has the same ground clearance as the stock peg with it's feeler. IF you're dragging knees on that machine,.......you and I need to do some riding!!! Giddy-UP!!!!
