We have installed a auto start on a 2004 Show Busa, but one problem . The auto start will only start when the key is in and in the on position. Is there something you can bypass that will allow the auto start to start the bike with out the key in? Any Help would glady be appreciated? its got us stumped.

Got me stumped also. Never heard of anything like this before.

Hmmm...
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. whip out your ohm meter and find out which wires the
ignition switch connects.
3. Solder up some relays to those wires.
4. actuate those relays with the remote start.
5. reconnect the battery.

No offense pdstallings but if you have to ask this question you have no business installing a device that could injure you or others if done wrong, not to mention damage your bike. Not sure what remote start system you are using but is should have built in or external relays already set-up for it. Have seen to many novices screw-up remote starts to give you further advice.

Don't take it personally, just don't want you or your bike messed up.

pd I am from Marion, Ar and I have heard some guys at work mention about a guy in Jonesboro that has a remote start on his BUSA. Would you like me to get his name and # maybe he can help.

Yeah Im in Jonesboro, Would love to know who has this on there Busa from here. And to add Im not the person doing the installing its at a certified car audio business, these guys are really talented, they just havent done many bikes. We have the auto start working, but It will only start with the auto start once, after that its like the security takes over, something in the computer i guess, because you have to let it set for awhile, it has to reset before it will do it again. But works perfect with the key in and in the on position. But you only get one auto start, before something overrides it. Were stumped here, any advice would greatly be appreciated.
