I was reading european magazines today at Barnes & Noble, and the most interesting one was "MOTORCYCLE Leisure & Sports of UK", Jan '00 issue. They declared the busa as the bike of the century, with the duc 916 a second. But most interesting was an article on "GT Hayabusas". They come in 2 colors: white/blue and GT blue/yellow. They said it was a suzuki special order, and it had a akropovik titanium full exhaust and little head work and remapping, all with suzuki parts with the obvious exception of the exhaust. Results? 175 vs 153 rwhp. They reported impressive smoothness everywhere, even 1500 rpm in top gear; no abruptness or hesitation. They advertise it as the 200mph bike. Check it out.
