What do you guys think about FI on Busa.... how does it compare to other bikes that you have rode or had....

I've had CBR400RR and CBR929RR. First of them had carbs... and second had a very different pick up, hesitations were there ... but at different speeds....

When riding Busa at highway speeds or on street if I'm holding in steady it will have very slight surge up or down....
I was told by a mechanic that it is normal and different bikes would have it in different spots etc....

What are your thoughts.....

BTW, my bike is all standard....( at the moment at least... )

The later models have less noticible issues with fuel injection. Some say a PC3R will smooth out any wrinkles in the FI, this may or may not be true. Usually you may resolve a problem but start another. My .02

mine does this on the return lane sometimes...
only at 4000+rpm and cruising in 2nd, 3rd.

normal, no biggie.

thanks... just want to confirm with you guys....
If it's normal I can live with it...It's not thaaat bad...

I guess it depends on what year you have.  I know lately Suzuki's fueling has been better then most, and I've always thought my Busa has been spot on, but I've also heard that earlier models might have had some issues.  I think it was in 03 (or maybe 02) that the Busa switched to 32-bit ECU which helped sort out most fueling issues encountered in the earlier models.  Either way, a PC will definitely help you out if you want it perfect.

My is 04, so should be ok....
hope so...
When the bike is new, and one is still not completely used to it... all those small things always get me thinking, you know?

thanks for your thoughts...
