hi all,
just joined up,got a 2k uk busa,fairly standard,apart from set of yoshi cans.
my busas just come out of storage after a year or so,done a few hundred miles on it,seems okay but;
tends to missfire slightly on over run,just balanced butterflies,now not as bad but still there,also tries to die as you pull away from 1k revs,back to normal by 2k revs.
seems ok at any other revs,any ideas??.

you got the same trouble I've got!!

My bike is doing the same thing and I swear its from storing gas in it over the winter... (mine has done it off and on for over two summers now)  runs good then runs bad..  seems to only be in the low rpms. just around 2,000 rpms then clears up.  (feels like its running out of gas... or either drowning in gas?

I have no FI. light on or any codes showing in the dealer mode either.

what I have done is pour 8 oz "sea foam" down each throttle body  (twice now) and two 8 oz mixters of gas in the tank .  (I believe it has helped it a lot but it is still there very slightly...) I need to just take every thing apart and give it a good cleaning I guess. the old gas must have turned to varnish and carbon build up?

any one else have any idles on this...

May be a weak battery! Busa does not charge untill around 2K RPMs.

Weak battery, old gas. Have the battery fully charged and tested and fill the bike up with gas and see what happens.
