BMW bikes... (and no offense to anyone that owns one; each to their own), I think I actually get a sick feeling just looking at 'em. Anyway, someone must have played a joke on me and gave my local BMW dealer my address because I started receiving BMW flyers in the mail awhile back. Typically the ads go in the trash immediately, but I was bored the other day so I popped a couple of Tums and thumbed through one. Whizzing past the bike ads, I saw an interesting jacket called the Streetguard 2. Supposily this black jacket reflects the suns rays keeping the rider some 10-15 degrees cooler. An infrared image in the ad shows zero heat reflecting from the jacket (compared to a standard jacket).
In fear the Streetguard 2 jacket may have a BMW logo on it.
Does anyone know if any other manufacturer makes a jacket with these reflective qualities?
