Busa Won't Turn Over

Issue: Bike won't turn over. Fuel fuse blows every time I attempt to start the bike
2007 Busa sat in garage a year and was not winterized. It had a half tank of gas in it before it was stored. New plugs, oil and battery but the bike still won't turn over. Removed old gas removed fuel pump from the tank and cleaned the housing around the fuel pump. Sticky substance around the housing.. Bike turn over but won't start, fuel fuse blow.

Note: Starter fluid will start the bike and cut off when the fuel is burned off. I'm thinking the fuel pump is could be clogged or bad. Could a clogged or bad fuel pump blow the fuel fuse?

Fuel pump clogged, high in rush current, pop goes the fuse. Unplug the connector to the fuel pump, replace the fuse, turn key on and see if fuse pops. If not, pull that pump and disassemble and clean. Best of luck. Maybe hit that tank with apple cider vinegar .........

Be careful with what you try ~ it might flip over without warning . . .

Nah bro ,Jack's cheap here, cheaper than Jim, better taste too. One shot for bike two for me
