Well that's a little better but dosen't do it justice comapred to full size pic, there is actually some very good design work that went into this.

nice artwork layout, and good color combination. doesn't look like it has a high gloss like paint though, but some people like a low gloss. i would like to see one after a couple of years on the bike. not knockin' the "wrap", just putting info out there for the members, i'm booked for the season so it's not like i'm posting this up for work. here's one of my paint jobs after 2 years.

And the other one.

Bogus - I have no Idea what guys are gettin to wrap a sportbike but it's probably not enough considering the install time involved.  I know I sure as heck dont want to try, it's gotta be a royal pain, I don't even want to do too many vehicles, it quickly became a ***** industry and there are way too many idiots giving this type of work away.

Sweety - no harm to the paint unless they were extremely reckless with their Exacto knives while trimming places like around the gas cap.

Rev - There are some pretty glossy laminating films used on wraping vinyl but your definetly not going to get the depth & gloss level you will with multiple coats of utethane color sanded & buffed.  As far as durability there are actually some pretty durable products on the market today but actual longevity is determined by many factors such as proper cleaning/prep and proper install techniques (experience).  Agreed digitally printed vinyl wraps are no comparison to custom paint/airbrush artwork, for the most part they are intended for advertisment purposes generally with the intention of it being removed within a specific time frame, it is kid of amazing to what lengths some folks have taken this trade, I just wish that the other 90% would learn some decent design skills.

Whats this world coming to.. We have semi trailers that are wrapped with advertisements..

I do think it looks pretty good though..

A friend got a quote in Dallas afew weeks ago, was like 1800.00 if he took the bike apart, and they were doing all the art work.

It kind of hides the tail - I like it.

How much would it cost to wrap the sides of a 6X12 enclosed trailer? I peeled a bunch of old stickers off that were baked on & it looks like Shine.

i like it. i was actually gonna get into wrapping as an alternative to custom paint. good to hear it's durable.
