Busasmith shift light

Hey guys, I have an 08 busa, bought the busasmith shift light. All was going well but I cant find the assesory power connection thsat is supposed to be on the right side. I have torn the bike apart and cant find it anywhere. Can anyone help.

As you sit on the bike its the left hand side.... That what i was told. I will be doing mine soon.

I asked a sim question weeks ago about the GenIIs having this connection up at the right turn sig like the GenI. Was told yes, but I could NOT find it. ITs plain as day on the GenIs. I ended up tapping to the small LED in the corner of the headlight for an ignition source. Good luck.

THERE IS NO ASSERORY PLUG IN THE NOSE OF GEN 2 Busa's. I had to plug the shift light in-line with the smaller bulbs of the head light.

Sorry, didn't think to take a picture. There are four plugs in nthe forward nose, main head lamp low beam, high beam, right and left small light. The jumper provided in the kit gets connected inline to the left or right small light.

You really must pull the nose forward to work, my fat fingers couldnt sneak it on without pulling the nose forward.

Yea that what I did. Pull the gauge cluster out and you will see the wires to the small bulbs of the headlight area. You can easily follow the wires to the bulb to know you have the correct wires.
