i go check on the furnace and it has some error that could mean a bunch of things.... i check most of them out and i think i've narrowed it down to a failed blower motor.

i wake up this morning to find it 47 degrees. lucky i had an electric space heater to keep my bedroom at 65.

now i get to have fun trying to find someone to come fix this thing on sunday!!!!!!!

i feel for you.... more than likely it is the blower motor, i have had this to happen to me before.

I feel for ya man, that sucks... My blower died this past summer, replaced it myself and saved a bunch'o'cash.

we had the igniter go bad on ours, Called the nephew came out and took care of it..

If you need his number give me a shout.. He's not that far away..

well it was a bad power connection to the capacitor that starts the motor.... guy was here for 20min and charged me $100.....

He needed to see a phone book to look at the maps of the city to find out where his next call was so I just gave him a phone book... I have like 3 of em. He thought it was very generous of me...

the guy comes back 15min after leaving the house and comes in a gives me my money back!!!!

Very effin' cool, bro! Just goes to show you treat people nice, they return it to you. Most of the time, that is.

I had a guy out from Sears one time to work on the washer and dryer. He fixes the washer and then, when he's about to work on the dryer I handed him his $100 tip. He took the part for the dryer out of his tool box and handed it to me and said he would just charge me for the part if I put it in myself. Turns out it was two screws out, old part out. New part in, two screws back in and I'm good as gold. The labor would have been based on their "standard rate" equal to $120. I would have still tipped him the same anyway but this way, I didn't have to pay the labor charge, too of which he would ahve gotten $20. We both made out. Oh, and he discounted the part by about $50 too.

Nice guy. Never had another problem with either the washer OR the dryer.

The best place to hurt people is their wallets. Better than kickin' a guy in the nutz. Best place to treat people well is the same place. Better than givin' 'em a hand job!
