Got an E mail from Out The Door Cyclesports. Says, buy any Dunlop tire in March and get one. ??? Dosen't say buy one get one free or what the price is. I'll call and find out tomarrow.

They have dealers Denver, So Cal and Nor Cal. May be worth checking in to if there's not a catch.

If Dulops where buy none get 4 free,I wouldn't take them. Because I would get charged a disposal fee when I get rid of them. They make the worst tires out there. Almost.

This is so strange, I keep hearing negative comments lately about the Dunlop Qualifiers. I had a racer in the shop yesterday and when he looked over the Busa he said "Wow do yourself a favor and get some good tires on that thing":dunno:

Fascinating how many opinions and perspectives there are on tires, isn't it?

Called them today. The deal is buy a rear get a free front. Then you have to pay them to install, 80 bucks for the set. The catch is they must be paid for and installed by the end of the sale. Can't buy them and hold 'em till you need tires later. A 190/50 Qualifier is $150 so for $230 you get both plus tax, disposal fee etc.

Good price if you need new rim protectors NOW.

I remember 2 years ago Cycle Gear had Q's on for buy the rear get the front free. That was when I finally changed my front to match my rear.

That was walk in, online, carry out....did not mattter. They moved some tires.

Thats not a deal! I get my tires mounted an balanced for 20 bucks each. Is it walk in only an you must mount them there cause if that s the deal I will make sure never to buy or order there.

**** Store having a sale on lube buy one get one jar free but 1st you must bend over an us _________ you :rofl:

I get such a chuckle when I hear guys trashing Dunlop's Qualifiers. It's a sure sign they are either low on skill and can't really tell the difference in tires or they have been hitting the bong a little to often. I will challenge anyone who has doubts about the Q's to attend a Jason Pridmore school and take a few laps two up with Jason at the helm. He has a GSXR1000 with handles attached to the tank for the purpose of packing a passenger. You get to sit on the rear seat and you also get to drag your knee. And yes, he does this on those trashy, and what was that???????? oh yes "They make the worst tires out there" Dunlop Qualifiers! I have yet to see a club racer on his finely tuned race bike with slicks out perform Jason on a plain Jane set of Street Qualifiers.

Qualifiers may not be the best street tire out there but if there is one better, I have not been on it. I have spanked a number of Q's and they have never let me down!

Q's at work!

That's a real sweetheart deal. $230 for a set of Q's mounted, especially if the wheels are on the bike. Killer deal!

Tires are only as good as the rider.

What you should keep in mind when choosing a tires is, a high performance tire will let you to get away with mistakes that a touring tire will not.

Suspension set up plays a huge roll in how any tire performs. Your suspension is what keeps your tire in proper contact with the pavement.

However, you are correct in your assumption that a skilled rider can make a poor tire shine when a less skilled rider will make a good tire look like a turd.

wow no kidding? what tires do you suggest then?

If they suck so bad, why do the pro's run them, when they could ride just about whatever they want ? All you ever see is Perrelli, Michelin, and Dunlop.

Just got a great deal fm a guy who's trying to clear his garage today - brand new Q 190/50 for $100. Can't resist it even when my stock still has at least another 3k to go. Didn't even make an offer - just paid and leave...
