buying 03 any problems w/this year?

Been lurking on this board for a while....I'm buying a used 03 which has 3,500 miles. It has some minor scratches and dings but overall it's in good shape. Minimum bid is 5900.00. Good price? Owner is not available. Any problems w/this year?

Also it has a zero gravity wind shield and a yoshimuar full muffler system. Anyway to figure out if it has a chip? Or do I have to have a dealer check it out?

The bike was confiscated as a result of a drug arrest. But thanks for the concern!

Bout the exhaust....do you think a chip or some other device would have been installed to allow the exhaust to function properly?
