AMAZING AIR CAR FROM INDIA

This is the same company which-a few months back-invented
a car that costs only $2500 new. BUT it's not available in
the USA . Why is it that a gasless vehicle that eliminates the
reason to buy oil from foreign countries hasn't nipped the
minds of US manufacturers? How bad can this be for anybody,
anywhere in the world -- except for foreign oil?

The Compressed Air Car, developed by
Motor Development International (MDI)
Founder Guy Negre, might be the best thing to
happen to the motor engine, and people all
over the world.

The $12,700 CityCAT, one of the planned
Air Car models, reaches 68 mph, goes for a
range of 125 miles. It will take only a few
minutes for the CityCAT to refuel at
gas stations equipped with custom air
compressor units. MDI says it should cost
only around $2 to fill the car up with
340 liters of air!

The Air Car will be starting production soon,
thanks to India 's TATA Motors.
Forget corn! That's a joke.
There's fuel, user friendly, pocketbook
friendly fuel! What can be better than air?

....doubt we will ever see them over here....it would have to be electric car so that some one could be makin some money on the car as you drive...nothing in america is free and somebody always wants to make money.

Yeah I do not think it would ever "Offically" meet crash standards or be brought to market here in the US because then that would cut the throats of the major car manufactures and the guys making a killing on the gas that has to sell at over $4 a gallon. I tell you what if they brought those over here I would be on of the first knuckle heads to buy on I am sure someone could rig up and air compressor to those and save their butts allot of money

To bad you couldn't figure out how to make the turning wheels hook to a system to replenish the compressed air! Now that would be quite the set-up...

how about a solar panel on the roof powering a built in air compressor?  That wouldn't be too heavy.
