The other day, driving home from work, a bike came in front of me from a junction. I could not pass him due to heavy traffic, or see what kind of bike it was. We were speeding at app. 150 km/h. When the lane became free from cars, he shifted down twice and gave it full throttle. I was in my 6 gear and gave it full throttle as well. I just managed to keep up with him, then traffic got heavy again. We rode like that for app 50 km. I thought, this must be a big bike pulling that hard. Then there was an opening in the inner lane. I drove up next to him and looked at him. He was riding the ZX12. He looked back with a big smile on his face. I passed him slowly with him following me. Then traffic got light again. I shifted down twice and took off, him following ( or trying to ). Well, I quickly got 250 – 300 meters between us. I never knew how fast we were going, I simply did not have the nerve to look at my Speedo. It’s actually a bit scaring how the freeway can be turned into the twisties when riding at that speed. Now I know my busa is the fastest.
