Calling all Busas?

Well, I have scene how many here are military/ex-military. Are there any other Police, Deputies, LEO's, that ride the Busa besides me?

I guess I am making sure that I am not the only "pig" that rides the "bus".

Was a correctional officer 10 years and it was all I could take. I am now back at the first job I had when I left the military in 87.

Ex-military (10 years - Army) here but I do ride with a LEO friend on occasion. Good to see LEO's on Busa's!

Just curious (and not trying to be a smart azz)... but as tough as it is to keep the Busa from zooming along, how often does your Busa exceed the speed limit? My LEO friend tells me some (most?) LEO's view 11 mph over the posted limit as the magic attention getting speed (as in: book 'em!). Although I'm sure there's certainly no set rule. I've heard of others getting nailed for speeds much less over the limit.

Boy I wish I was a member of the forum last year when I got my first $400 ticket.

Ouch. I guess you have to pay if you want to play. I hadn't had a ticket in years. I traded in my k1200rs for a busa and 3 months later I had a $400 ticket. The last time I got a ticket like that was on my fj1200 15 years ago. What to pay with the big dogs you have to get off the porch. My buddy was on his road king and got one too. Tough day. We were going to put a deposit on ktm 400 dirt for him. The thing that really sucks is the traffic was going the same speed (85) and we got picked out the crowd.
