Calling tech heads

I have 12,000 miles on my baby busa now. My question is this. Valve adjusting is called for at 15k BUT any of you guys that have done them timely did you find that they really NEEDED adjusting or was it a general waste of time? It's my first bike so I have never had to have a valve adjustment done. I just don't like taking my bike in and leaving it unless it's for something that really NEEDS to be done. So my ? is would you guys take it in at 15k or wait a little while longer? Appreciate the feedback. BB69

To many factors in determining the worthiness of an early check or not.... But, I can tell you from first hand experience not to put the adjustment off at the regularly scheduled interval........

Hmmm... last I checked mine was over 24,000 miles ago. Maybe it's time to lift the tank again.

Unless you are redlining the bike all the time, I would put off the check till it recommended..
