I was thinking of puting some different cams in. anyone know which ones would be best. And give me the biggest jump in hp. Not to mention that nice sound they give off.

yoshi adjustables work best in a Busa I believe

A set of Webb cams and a custom map gave me 13RWHP at peak, some people don't like the Webb cams though. I've got 10,000 miles with no problems.

i know people talk of only getting 4-6hp but what kind of torque/hp curve do they create? Do they make the busa accelerate harder or are they just for dyno queens?

before:  BDE Gen III, PC3r, small box mod, K&N filter

After: same as above with the addition of Webb cams and custom map.


You can see that the curve stays almost the same until right around 6250 - 6500 RPMs. I have no idea why the torque curve looks so jumpy but I've had it dynoed since then and it wasn't like that.

Very impressive dyno foresteronw, that bike has got to be a fun ride. Were you using the map that brock provided before the custom map?

Yeah it was brocks map. It's a blast to ride, the only thing I don't like is ever since the cams were installed the valve train is a little more noisy. I brought it back and he said everything was in spec and I've had them for 10,000+ miles with no problems.

I have no idea what he degreed them at, I emailed him and asked him but he never did get back to me on that.
