Can a 2001 busa be flashed?

Trying to find out if I can get my ecu flashed for an 01 busa, or do I have to get a pc3? Any help would be very appreciated.. I wanna get my bike tuned asap

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you need a 32 bit ecu from an 02 to 07, the 99 to 01 have the 16 bit ecu.
