Good morning fellow busa riders,
Writing from the UK with rain hammering down when I should be blasting my way up to the Brecon Beacons for a weekend of twisties!
I have a question which I am hoping you can answer? I have fitted a top box to my 2000 busa to make it the ultimate touring machine. The problem I have is the height of the pillion pegs for the misses when seated. On a recent trip from Portsmouth (UK) to Loch Lomond in scotland, we had to increase the number of stops to let her stretch her legs. After way too many stops, we reached an agreement for the misses to drop her feet down behind mine, using the exhaust/inside of my pegs to rest her feet on, which mean't my feet were to the outside of the pegs whilst motorway cruising and she stopped whinging!! (I knew getting helmet comms was a bad idea!!) Once back on the twisties, she went back on to her pegs.
Is there a mod/bolt on i can do to give her something to rest her feet on behind mine? I only ask as she wants to get rid of the busa for a BMW LT if not!!!! Has this question been asked before?? Any help to let me keep my busa would be much appreciated!
Great site guys; first time posted and looking forward to your help!!
