Can You Build An Air Ride?

I was wondering; aside from paying $1000.00 for an Air Ride kit, can you buy the pieces and build one for a lot less? I think if you had the Cylinder Specs, getting the Compressor and fabricating the mounts would be easy! I don't have a lot knowledge or experience with Air Ride Kits and was wondering; what are you guys thoughts on this?

this is a similar conecpt as the guys who want to build there own turbo kit to save money. Sometimes it works and saves few bucks. The key is sometimes. Best of luck with the project.

air ride- is that like an airshock replacement for your rear suspension??
i like mine to be tight, not mushy- cant see one on the beast-
but to answer your question:
yeah, you probably could build one cheaper- just be sure what the system specs are and do some searching an it should come together fine.
