Cant afford medical,SHOOT ME!!

Darn owe a grand 4 my cat scan.Was 3,600 insurance caught rest.they said found small sisc on liver no biggie but want do another in 6 months.Im not shopping 4 grave markers yet but blood pressure still high so there uping my dosage.I skipped going 2 uroligist cause guys @ work scared me.telling me they will have nunmb my pecker with a freezing agent then insert:oh::oh: tube.Couldnt they do something less painfull like shoot me with shotgun loaded with rocksalt?Im not going I feel fine +got go back doc in a month re-check blood pressure.Im A WALKING pressure cooker.I need my $$$ no more overtime+race season is starting soon.:mad2::mad2::eh:

first off good luck. physician's usually know their stuff and as horrible as this sounds inserting a tube into your member is very common and i have seen it done several times and the patient hardly noticed. as far as your ct goes shop around. check with insurance and maybe you can save some money. some places have scanners that cost a ton and will not be necessary for your procedure but they will charge u for their technolgy anyway. good luck

If your doc says u should then u should. Why did u do the scan in the first place? Its pretty common to do a study, find something that isn't a big deal but it could be, and then they want to do another study to compare with the first to see if something is growing, getting better, worse, or whatever. I assume u have a primary physician that referred u to get this scan. If so is it him or her that suggests doing it again or the radiologists that read your scan? Hopefully your realtionship with your physician is good enough where u can ask them questions to better understand everything. Money is an issue and he or she should understand that.

A radiologist is a doctor that reads/intreprets xrays, cts, ultrasounds and other radiology studies. They may see your ct images and suggest another study in 6 months. But they do not know you like your primary physician does. You should talk with them and see what they think is best. If you answered my previous questions i may be able to help you more

They did the first because when I got my physical 4 my medical card (dot or truck driver medical card) they found traces blood in my urine)under microscope have never seen it myself.

cyst's on the liver are fairly common. they probably want another scan to make sure it is a cyst because a cyst will not grow. if it grows its not a cyst. what about the blood in your urine? they should do another ua 2 see if its still there. a cyst on your liver will not cause blood in urine. do you have a history of kidney stones?

I am in Cardiology Medicine. First of all, liver cysts are quite common and are generally simple fluid filled. An ultrasound would be a better choice for the second go around of test as it will show delineation of borders. Hepatic Cysts (liver cysts) are common especially in men and women over the age of 55. As far a a urologist goes...your friends scare the crap out of you. If you go, you will see the Urologist and he will run some blood tests and talk to you about symptoms. Only after that will he suggest a scope if he feels it is necessary. You are well within your rights to decline. If you are going because of small trace of blood in urine, then that is quite common as well. Not normal, but sometimes we dont ever figure out why a little trace of blood is in urine. On your visit, the urologist will likely do a rectal exam to feel of your prostate to see if it is enlarged. If it is suspected of enlargement, then an ultrasound may be performed at a later date. An ultrasound of the liver is better use of your money than the second CT.

No but in 99 I TRASHED A BIG TRUCK.BROKE MY LEG BAD FEMUR THE BONE WENT TRU MY SKIN+PANTS LEG ALSO BROKE MY KNEE+CRACKED MY PELVIS SOCKET. AND SLIGHTLY PUNCURED GALLBLADER,.I WAS LAID UP OVER 1/2 YEAR THEY FOUND BLOOD IN URINE THEN BUT IT THINNED OUT THEN WENT AWAY.THERE WASNT A USEABLE PART LEFT ON THE RIG i totaled thats why im deathproof.
