cant get a straight answer

i have an 04 hayabusa i need a cdi box will any year 99 thru 07 work or do i need an 04 box i called the local suzuki dealer they said they didnt have a clue imagine that so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated

CDI box.... I think I know why they are confused, I sure am.

Are you wanting an ECU? It controls the ignition and fuel injection. However they are not the same from 99-07. You should be looking for one from an 02-07 for your 04. They are around on the used market for $75-150. I know the dealer will be much higher.

99-2000 uses part number 32920-24F21
2001 uses part number 32920-24FD0
02-07 uses part number 32920-24FK0

So looks like 02-07 will work for ya.
