carbon fiber exhaust protector

Awhile back I seen a product involving a curved piece of CF that goes around the exhaust pipe behind your feet. From what i remember they were only like 30-40 bucks.

But I can't remember where I seen it at though anybody know where to find or who makes them.

if you guys find it let me know,it can't be hard to design a mold but the key would be what to use to mount it.I had some chrome ones i ordered that went on with 2 hidden clamps around the pipe and they worked well.

Well thats about all they were....just a small curved piece of CF and a stainless band that went around the exhaust pipe...Man I wish i could find them....From what i remember they were not on an motorcycle website but just a carbon fiber one. I'm determined to find it.

Just to clarify what exactly it is......


Just a piece of small curved Carbon Fiber attached to a small stainless band that goes behind foot on exhaust pipe....I remember options for different sized pipes....Simple enough huh.....yeah right

I checked the 04 Dennis kirk catalog and it was not in there.
If you can find someone with an 03 catalog or call DK directly you may find out who at least made it.
I only ordered from a few companies when I had the 600 and DK was the main one.

i just searched for an hour and all i could find was motocross carbon pipe protectors...i know what your talking about and have seen them too and now its bugging the crap outta me cause i cant find it... AARRRRGGGHHH!!
