carbon fiber ..help

Can anyone tell me the process in making carbon fiber products. I have made parts from fiberglass. I also have located a vendor that will sell me the carbon fiber mat but could not (or would not) give me any info on resins. Anyone know??

A friend of mine makes carbon fiber race car parts. I'll ask him. Do you have specific questions about the resin?

It is much like fiberglass. You will use an epoxy (type is dependent upon curing and strength requirements). It is best to degas under vacuum. The best stuff is pe-preg carbon but is hard to find.
