In 2-3 weeks a carbon/kevlar Hayabusa airbox will be here with out a flapper and the hole in the bottom of the airbox sealed where the vacuum actuator is located.

Construction is for strength, not road racing weight loss or street bike pretty.

An airbox to help contain the explosive forces of Nitrous Oxide when the bike coughs and explodes the plastic OEM airbox in to shrapnel.

well folks my computer hosed itself a couple weeks ago and I was burning the midnight oil to get a bike ready for Daytona.

Airbox is in the finishing stages according to my conversations held at Daytona with the President of A-TECH. Several new products werin discussion over the two days we met.

I have several new products in the works, airbox being a priority part - still no delivery date in ink.My guess from our dialoge is three weeks. Bear in mind there was only one interpertor and six Japanese from A-TECH. I hope to have a better handle on things by early next week.

I will ask them again this week about the airbox, when we met at Daytona the President of A-TECH was concerned with a limited demand for such a product. But they are working on it and should have something soon I was assured.

Well finally recieved some news on the airbox, Team Adachi is involved with this project as well. They campaign a Busa in the Japanese Xtreme class as well.

I should have a prototype in my posession by the 30th of March.

I hope it is worth the wait.............we will see and I will post pictures the day it arrives.

Prototype translated from japanese means preproduction/ early production part.
