carbon or ti ?

Do the CARBON CAN and TI CAN sound the same ? I am going to order a Akro exh system , on the fence on which can to get , Carbon or TI.

Yes they sound the same. It is only a cosmetic difference.

Get the carbon, not for the sound but for the lack of heat. The carbon cans won't burn 'her' legs like the metal ones will.

I know I've read that people stated the carbon fiber can gave them a deeper sound, no? Maybe they changed their exhaust from stock with the carbon fiber can, which obviously would skew their result.

I had CF and switched to a Ti can. There was a slight change in the tone but not the sound. This was with an Akra system....

I'll take Ti over CF anyday for cans. Had one go up in flames. Also the CF can get hot like Ti.

CF saved my A$$. Was stopped, waiting to make a left, when cager hit me from behind. CHP estimated his speed at 25-35 mph. Can absorbed 99% of the impact and crumpled. All I felt was a slight shove from behind, rolled with the bike as it slid on its right side. I do believe if my can was all Ti, it wouldn't have absorbed as much, and the impact would have shot me across the road into traffic.

maybe I'am reading this wrong, but I can"t see how a CF Sleeve can control any rear end impact. The Exhaust is still ALL METAL inside
