Case protector bushing

Hey Guys , I'm try'in to get the bike ready for the Bash..I might have it finished but one thing I need to do is install the case protector bushing on my 01.. Do I need to replace the gaskets or are they reusable ( rubber etc) and I am correct that there are 2 covers to take off the side of the engine ? Anything going to fly-a-part when I take it/ them loose? Any special tools.or tips? Thanks PR

Does the cover have to come off??? By looking at that device before, it looked like you could just remove two bolts, install the puck and re-install the bolts?
