Ceramic Brake Pads

Need some input on Ceramic brake pads. This bike is more of a show bike but is still ridden frequently, but not very hard. Wheels are chrome, Im sick of cleaning all of the dust off them with a more likely chance of pitting my wheels. What are the pros and cons of Ceramic? Besides the price. I understand they are more costly.

the silence should be an indicator in itself....



I would say if you do not see them on the street, on the track or even on sale, that should tell you something..

I do know for our racing app's, ceramic is really $$$$

Ceramic / carbon rotors and pads can hit $20G pretty fast.. (and they do not work when cold)

Havent looked for them yet. Thought I might get some varied opinions. ???
