I've just gone out to check mine for you and find they are screws. I've got 3 crosshead (pozidrive) screws holding my chain guard on. It's a 2003 UK model. Does yours really have bolts? If so, can't you just measure the head with a ruler? Or are they missing and you need new ones? Sorry to have more questions than answers. But something that size would generally be 10 or perhaps 12 mm. Steve
