Chain Guard ?

So a buddy of mine has been talking about going to the strip this your to try it out. Figured why not, i'll join ya! Anyways, i've been looking for a chain guard, but wasn't sure if I should purchase a steel, or aluminum guard.

I thought maybe aluminum would be a good choice because of its weight, but then thought steel cause of the strength. Is there a rule on what material is accepted and which isn't?

Advice needed.

Aluminum "should" be enough to slow a slinging chain down...

I had a tiger on my stock arm with "Hayabusa" cut out. it saved my leg and bodywork last year when I spit a chain. Split the lettering in half from the last a forward to the b, but I'd rather that than buy new bodywork, jeans and be bruised/cut up!

Guy, I would, but I dont think you want one that has a plate welded across the back.


It broke, I had to have it that weekend and didnt even think of getting in touch with you.

On a better note, I did break a Tiger Tail, emailed Guy, and he had a new one on my front door in two days!

Very good customer service, I believe my bud and I were one of the first to get a guard for the '08 and some developement took place. Guy took very good care of us through the entire process~!!~
