My pads on the R1 lasted 12,000+ miles including multiple trackdays.
I took the Busa on the track for the first time a few weeks back, the night before I did all the usual checks like pad thickness and bled the brakes.
By the end of the day my pads looked like this....

One very ex set of Carbon Lorraine SBK3s! note the missing segment of friction material on one and the lack of frction material all together on another two! These pads had a minimum 2.5mm of material the night before.
And the track I was on isn't even particularly hard on pads!
Heavy bike = goodbye pads!
BTW they lasted less than 2,500 Miles.
On AP Racing pads now and they feel fantastic.
