Good point. But, as the saying goes, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I guess Audi looks at a winning formula, and at least wants to be on par to have a chance. Nicky Hayden is still in top form, and Dovizioso has shown he can ride the Tech 3 with (almost) the best of them. It would be nice for Ducati to keep its history and win, but they can't seem to figure it out. So, (I assume) with Audi's name on the bike next year, they want to challenge for the win--not 10th place.
