The manual calls for Suzukibond to be placed on two parts of the clutch cover gasket mating surface, will any gasket sealer work?

of course its gonna call for suzuki bond... its a suzuki item, but from from what people has been saying is yamabond and all of its the same, just liquid gasket maker

permatex [blue] sounds good to me,,but spead[smear ] sparingly ,,thats been a ggod choice for autos and bikes for years,,you have the black and orange for high heat for headers, manfolds ect,,,,but dont run a big bead ,,dont want any fall off inside,,,,and its affordable,,,I havent swapped out my clutches on this bike,,,so others who have may have a different or betterr product to use,,,,thats one thing That is nice about this board is the help given and bounceing ideas off each other,,,,,,,

Get a black gasket sealer!! I only had red and eventhough I put it on using my finger go get as little as possible inside and on the outside, it looked like sh!t so I did it all over again with black and smeard it very sparingly!
The chance of it falling of inside isn't that big but you really don't want that clogging the oilflow somewhere..

Who re-uses ten year old gaskets? people who like leaks thats who... but seriously if you read the manual, it calls for a bit of sealer on two places. thats ok though I did use RTV black it worked great.
on a side note, I changed my cush drive rubbers while I had the chance, what a difference that makes too.

Thanks for the helpful responses
