I usually go 12K, but I really don't think I need to do it that often. Thinking the book says 7.5K. Closing in on 25K and have a set sitting on the table.
Changed mine around 9000 miles, still looked like new. Will change them again this spring when I get the lifters checked, but I figure they'll look like new too.
You guys love spending money for nothing. Some guys change Amsoil every 2500 miles, @ $11 a qt. I think someone is crazy. I spend enough money on keeping tires on the beast.
