Charity ride was a success!

Only Ogre and I represented from the .org, but there were two other busas there. (told them to check out the .org) 70 bikes showed up and the weather didn't really get too bad during the ride, we only got a little sprinkle. We got a police escort out of town to start off with and stuck mainly to the back roads. The ride was pretty slow, but it was cool to be with that many bikes. Everyone was asked to ride respectfully and it actually happened! At the end of the ride we got a nice BBQ with smoked pork, beef, chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, and the usual fixings. Nobody broke down or crashed (surprised with all the Harley there:whistle:) and we had a good time. We raised a bunch of money for the kids too. I didn't take too many pics of the ride, but here are the ones I have.

Also, for the guys that couldn't make it there will be a ride next month sometime, haven't gotten the details yet.

Does anyone know if its legal to block intersections for these types of rides? I don't think it is, but we had guys blocking almost every intersection in a bunch of different towns. Doesn't really matter to me, just curious cuz it was taking a while for some of these slower people to get through intersections on some highways and I know that if I was waiting for the bikes to pass by I would probably get a little irritated.

Nice, i'll do charity rides anyday where the money goes to a good cause rather than bar to bar runs!!!

AS for the blocking intersections the big ones i've done out here the local pd blocks the traffic so no one really has a choice, last one i went to was like 12k bikes, that would irritate me a bit to sit waiting for
