i was thinking how cool would it be if some 1 posted a pc3 map for a busa with a tre, bmc , and "gutted" stock cans
i figure you could make your tre and rework your stock exhaust- so you would actually only be buying a bmc filter and a pc3-
im currious if this settup would be worth the trouble?
if i had a dyno at my disposal i would research into this more and post it myself but....no luck there
sure it would be better to buy a full exhaust ect.. but some of us are doing good to get on the bike in the 1st place

Gutting the cans will only make it LOUDER....with this mod and a PC, you could pick up 1-3 HP. The main restriction in the exhaust system is the header itself.

With a full system,PC,and a custom map you can pick up 10-15 HP and save 15+ lbs.

With a custom map there is no need for a TRE....unless you are trying to do 200 MPH.

You can do it with the PC.

with a pc3r- but not with a pc3 usb-you would need an ignition module

Slip ons would be similar to gutting the stock cans, only a few hp gain, restriction at the head is still there. You may save a few pounds.

Slip ons are not going to add any noticeable HP gain 1-3 at best. They will sound better and you will lose money on them when you resell them and buy the full system that you should have bought in the first place

10-15 with a PC,custom map....slip ons 1-3....you won't need a PC, but it will run smoother with one.

but now I'm happy with my full Micron race exhaust.
