Hello all,

      I am fairly new to the board and to the Busa.  I have had it for about two weeks now.  I noticed when I turned the ignition key on today, the oil light was lit up and it said "Chek" on the clock.  I have a feeling this is not a good sign.  Any input will be welcome.

Another question;

Was also wondering, apart from oil changes what maintenance I should be aware of at 10K miles. Stuff like Valve adjustments etc?

Thanks

Alot of times if you just turn the ignition on without starting it then it will stay on, if that's the case you have no problem, if it stay's on check your OIL, you might be low.

Kick the kickstand up, I'll bill ya later, now get out there and ride

Wow, thanks for the quick response. It did not stay on after I started it. I checked the oil, it was fine.

In Neutral with the clutch in works too.

Running in gear at a light or in the garage, put the kickstand down and down she goes. Wonderful little interlock, and watch that red switch by the throttle, it'll get ya too. Experience talking/typing

You in Leavenworth? Hit me up for a ride sometime man, I am about 35 miles south of you.

Tommorrow night I am meeting up with GSXCITE, USN05LE, Maybe OMSLAW,KANJIBUSA at the Kansas Speedway to go over to bike night at FUEL on 119th & Metcalf.

Came to Fuel tonight, only saw two Busas there. One belonged to Steve the guy who does Turbo mods, pretty cool dude and a sweet ride. The other Busa I saw was golden. He was there only for a bit. Hope you guys had a good time if you did make it out for a ride.

I saw the check signal again today. I waited a bit and it disappeared. I guess its supposed to show when you start the bike.
